Passing of Lynn McMurdo

It is with deep sadness that we report that our dear friend Lynn McMurdo passed away on Monday, January 12, 2009, just days after the funeral of his wife, April.

From his earliest days Lynn has been a pillar of the fifty caliber community, a life member of the FCSA who shared his leadership and enthusiasm as both a Director and President of that organization. While a tireless ambassador of the sport of high- power rifles who stood for the traditions and values we all espouse, Lynn was first, and always, our dearest friend. We are diminished by his loss and will miss him terribly.

Due to the immediacy of this news, few additional details are available at this time. Funeral arrangements are being made for Saturday, January 17th. As further information become available, we will update this alert.
